Gemstone Beads & Metals
Made by Ree selects gemstone beads for their quality, color, variety and authenticity. We have selected trusted vendors that supply quality items consistently. It is our aim to design necklaces that are timeless with an element of whimsy.
To finish each neclace with quality metals, but remain affordable and also long lasting, we have opted to use universally loved sterling silver and 14k gold/rose gold filled metals. Gold fill is required to contain 1/20 gold by weight.
Gemstone Properties
Gemstones are said to have certain healing, protective or stimulating qualities. Each gemstone has its own unique story and set of properties. We try to include a tiny snippet of this information on each product page, pulling out one or two particular qualities that resonate with us.
Handle with Care
Handle your handmade necklace with care, and it will last for the long haul. Keep away from moisture as to prevent undue stretching of silk thread. Silk will however stretch over time from everyday wear. If your Made by Ree necklace has stretched or knots have become frayed, please contact us to schedule your necklace to be restrung (for a fee).
